Lead Newborn & Baby Photographer – Adelle My name is Adelle and I am the lead Photographer and Co-Founder of Your First Smile. We are a Husband and Wife team and here is a little bit of information about us;

Your First Smile Photography specialises in Newborn and Baby and our purpose designed Newborn and Baby Photography Studio is located in the beautiful market town of Otley in West Yorkshire – England.

I have over 12 years experience in the Photography Industry, after studying Photography and Design at Lincoln University. Since leaving University I have worked within a very busy Photography Studio in Leeds, West Yorkshire and this opportunity gave me a vast amount of knowledge and experience. Working within a Photography Studio that dealt with Weddings and generic portraits I decided to focus on my passion……….. Newborn and Baby’s!

Since founding Your First Smile in 2011 with my husband James, we were able to put together a brand that we would both be proud of.

I am a member of Master Photographers Association (MPA) and we are fully insured and CRB checked for families peace of mind :) I have trained with some of the best Newborn and Baby Photographers across the world in safe baby posing.

We like to make sure that our work is kept current and we train often with some of the best Newborn and Baby Photographers across the UK and the USA to ensure Your First Smile is kept to a high standard. We attend large Photography Conventions annually such as WPPI in Las Vegas, USA and one of my career highlights was to be asked to be a guest speaker at ‘Focus on Imaging’ at NEC Birmingham, United Kingdom which attracts more than 35,000 Photographers.

I believe that Newborn and Baby Photography is one of the most difficult to capture but is the most rewarding, I just love these beautiful moments and I understand how fast these moments will pass you by as a parent. My aim is for you to remember and cherish these precious memories, as your baby is only small for a little while……… So those details like tiny fingers and toes, their small noses and pouty lips can all be captured for you and your family to look back on with a smile.

I hope my images will provide both joy and happiness for today and many years to come………
